Looks pretty good.

I notice when most folks do castles here at DA, they do not add any ornaments. No banners, signs, flags nothing. If this is an ancient abandoned castle then not having ornaments make sense.

yeah...I only had an hour and a half to think it up, build it, put in a landscape and render it. Not being sarcastic, but I didn't have a lot of time. Maybe "fortress" was a better word. I based it off (badly) "Arbiter's Grounds" from Twilight Princess, which gives it an ancient (and abandoned) feel to it.

D: OH MY GOD, you just pwned the crap out of every castle design I've came up with.

Then again, most of mine involve only enough space for the specific rooms and nothing more, so they're not going to be as large... still, that's pretty damn epic.

Good point, this castle was made to house a large number of people, a castle made for myself would be 3 floors tops.

It was once a grand kingdom of the Pickle Slice, which due to his mistakes caused the whole place to become a dessert. He sits alone with his Venus Fly Traps until the wild treess that used to grow there grow back so he may escape away to society in shelter of their massive leaves so that way the Beaked, Beaver tailed, Flies don't kill him. You see, it was because a long time ago, the wealth Pickle Slice decided to rule in that castles when the place was not a dessert, but filled with wild trees and Giant Venus Flytraps. But the Fly Traps were dangerous for the Pickle Slice's health, so he got his guards, a bunch of Newts, who do not eat Pickles but they do eat Cucumbers, to gather all the flytraps and put them in the dungeon. Which they did. But now that they were gone, the Beaked Beaver Tailed Flies could eat everyone, including the trees. Which they did, but the trees did take a while to eat. The poor Pickle Slice was sad and wept within his castle, unable to leave. And so he waits until the day it rains so he may escape.
